Good variety of sports equipment. They have a little of everything, also a bit of summer things as well. Employees always very friendly. Prices are very good.

Looking to purchase a firearm. Went there on a weekday afternoon store was dead. I lingered around the counter for about 5 min. Three guys including one that looked like a manager was standing around complaining about customers. Not once was I asked if I needed anything. I must be in the wrong demographic to receive customer service in the firearms department at Academy. I’ll take my business elsewhere. Plenty of other places to purchase firearms in Indiana.

Good selection of outdoor gear. The grilling and smoking section was surprisingly well stocked. The employees working the cash register were friendly and helpful, but when we needed help in the shoe section, we were unable to find someone in the area to help (there was a button to press, but we did not press to request help). Overall, the prices, selection, and convenient location make it a good option for outdoor equipment needs.

My first visit was less then satisfying. I had an emergency need of golf shoes. My old ones died. I looked on the website and it looked to me they had a good selection. However, they had 4 styles of shoes and none were my size. I asked an associate if that was all they had and it was confirmed. I was also disappointed by the limited Stock they have that is golf related. As this is a new store in Fort Wayne I would think they would have a better selection of golf related products. I took my money to Dicks. I Probably wont return

Surprised at how nice this store was. Wasn't aware I had a sporting goods store this good so close. Great selection of guns, fishing equipment, clothes, shoes, grills, as well anything you could want for your kid's little league team.
